This series affords me the opportunity to explore the shadowed complexities of our environment—where ambiguity intersects with time, history, and truth. Set against a backdrop of apocalyptic undertones, the work examines the collapse of certainty—where conspiracy, economic favoritism, and ecological degradation converge.

Using visuals captured from the front of my gallery facing French Island, I draw upon years of quiet observation—what I call a “perceived perception”—to chronicle the slow encroachment and decline of the natural world. These images serve not just as documentation, but as a meditation on the hidden forces shaping the landscape.

Ultimately, this series is a response—a coherent and sensitive attempt to navigate the intersection of seen and unseen narratives that shape our collective future.
